Bustling and busy Café, so you need to be patient after ordering your food. Great spot for coffee and breakfast. Great service from the waiters. Had the Tin Mug Coffee and the Eggs benedict special with bacon. No regrets. It was a great taste experience 😋

We decided to pop into one of our favorite coffee spots, formerly one of The Daily franchises, to enjoy a catch up and lunch. Their menu used to be consistently great, good food, lovely vibe, so we anticipated a repeat experience even though the name has changed. No one came to serve us after being seated and this pretty much set the tone of the whole experience. We had to raise our hand several times throughout the meal to get service, despite it not being busy.I ordered a vegetarian burger, which used to be tasty, crispy onion ring and perfect fries but what is now served is a mushy patty, overwhelming curry taste(why?) and a soft onion ring which was as glassy eyed and bland as the whole vibe and service, was hidden under the dressing.I did tell the waitress, no one came to sort this out, despite her going to tell the chef and the owner seemed oblivious..We then ordered their delicious banana bread, which was outstanding, however after the disinterested staff, and owner who didn’t once glance our way or connect with her clientele, not even the banana bread could save the day.We had to ask for service repeatedly, we asked for the bill which never arrived, so this was a very disappointing trip down memory lane and we wont be back.

Had the full house breakfast and coffee. Excellent. The beans had a sexy little joosh going on. Excellent turn around and service. A winner.

Well my visit here was a disappointing experience. Firstly no sugar at my table for my cappuccino then when my food came, I had to call the waiter back for salt and pepper. The ordered chicken schnitzel which wasn’t a chicken schnitzel… more like dry chicken strips and nuggets. When I asked the waiter, he was adamant that it was a schnitzel but they add smaller pieces to increase the weight, which I appreciate, but it was only pieces and at that price… 🧐? The cappuccino was nice.

The service was a bit slow for a rather unbusy late lunch, but it isn’t a fast food joint so sit back and relax. The food was great.
