What an incredible experience. I’ve never been through anything like this. Wonderful woman serving us. Incredible food. Cozy and (likely) authentic as I’ve never been to Ethiopia. Cannot give enough stars. Such a hidden gem.

We ordered takeout and the owner was simply wonderful. We’ve never eaten Ethiopian cuisine and she helped me choose a variety of items, including a vegan option for myself. She explained how to use the bread to eat and helped get things to the car. SO flavorful and delicious! We had chicken, lamb, beef, the mixed vegetables, a couple types of lentils… we’ll be ordering again!

I’ve not had Ethiopian cuisine prior to this visit but I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious comfort food vibe of dishes here. I want to eat here again and again! Cozy space filled with lovely artwork. We were served by a sweet woman that made us feel we were visiting our favorite aunt’s kitchen. The menu is simple with a delightful selection of vegetarian, vegan and omnivore dishes that does not overwhelm the novice foodie. Don’t be afraid of “spicy” here. It’s flavor not heat. I’m a fan!!!

Food was fabulous and the service excellent. Very clean and unique. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping and eating a home cooked meal that Mia makes especially for you with love. Best lamb dish I’ve ever had. Great Vegetarian options. Police officer friendly too!! Cops and vets will love this place!

Amazing food, she uses real ingredients and oils. The decor and atmosphere is great also. 10/10 would recommend checking this place out for amazing Ethiopian food. Hours aren’t always right and they don’t always answer the phone, but it’s so good it worth it to just drive down there and see if they’re open!

Great experience! I love a place that is proud of their culture while sharing facts and information about the country, and food you’re eating. The woman working the front was wonderful, kind, and took the time to explain the menu. The food was excellent, flavorful, and savory. Would highly recommend.
