The Tropicale has it all: great ambiance, excellent service, and outstanding food and drink! We went for the Happy Hour that began at 4:00 PM. I tried the raspberry lemon drop Martini and loved it. We ordered four small plates: Shrimp tacos, Buttermilk fried chicken strips, Angus sliders, and the Holy mole chicken nachos. it was too much (three plates would have been perfect for two). Every one of our selections surpassed our expectations. The shrimp tacos were the best, the other three tied for second place. We will definitely visit Tropicale when we visit again on all future trips to PS

My friend who is a local brought us here saying it is one of the best spots. Unfortunately the evening we went for dinner was an off night.My drink tasted like cilantro instead of a spicy margarita and the food was a block of salt. So with this experience why would I recommend it?It is not the normal. Literally everyone says go here it is amazing. The staff is inviting, the menus are creative and you shouldn’t fault a fantastic place because a one off experience. I’ll absolutely go back and give it another try.

The food was good but the atmosphere is really what this restaurant is about! Cool breezes and huge hills overshadowing you while you talk with friends is what really sets this place apart, not to mention staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want a taste of what Palm Springs has to offer, the Tropicale is the place to go!

Make sure you have a reservation or be prepared to wait for a table! This place is amazing for small little party groups. Our cocktails were really good and the food was absolutely amazing!! We had several small plates and the calamari were some of the best I’ve ever had! The truffle fries are to die for and the Asada entree was so tender and delicious, I didn’t want it to end.

The food is amazing and some of the biggest portions I have ever seen. Flavorful and hot, we also started off with the skewers which were amazing.Only drawback, every place is having to adjust with staffing but it did appear our server had a lot of tables and was stretched a lot. We took care of him but he didn’t really check in often so we couldn’t order more drinks. Still very highly highly recommend this place.

I had the best group dining experience at this spot. It was recommended as a must have in Palm Springs and they did not dissapoint. The waitstaff was soooo attentive. Always refilling our waters and drinks. The food was AMAZING.The waiters were super sweet gentlemen. The ambience in the restaurant and the music was amazing. 10/10 would recomend.

Super fun 🤩 and delicious place for brunch, HHour or dinner. Great in and outdoor seating areas. Fun menu. Tip: HH lasts all night on Wednesdays. Great team. Vintage PS glamorous decor.
