The Nest was recommended by a friend of ours. We’ve owned a vacation property in Kimberley for years and were not aware of this incredible restaurant. We celebrated our anniversary tonight with our eldest son. The food and service was absolutely outstanding! So good! Ambiance was also incredible with great old tunes played on vinyl with a turn table. If you haven’t experienced The Nest you need to. We will definitely be back; can’t wait! Highly recommend.

Without a doubt, the best quality fare in the East Kootenay area. The food here is on par- if not better- than the food I’ve eaten at top rated restaurants in the Vancouver area or otherwise.This is not a place to go for a rushed dinner with your kids, this is where you go for a wine and dine experience with multiple courses and wine pairings. The wait for food may be longer than other restaurants at times, and for a very worthwhile reason, as each plate is made fresh from scratch to order. There’s no line cooks or teams on kitchen stations, it’s one chef fixing up every component of each plate himself, fresh to order, and made with an unbelievable amount of skill and technique. The decor is gorgeous, and Neil creates a warm and easy going atmosphere.I’ve never had food here that wasn’t perfectly cooked and delicious, and even ingredients I don’t usually care to eat have now been reintroduced to me as something I love.A well thought out menu with amazing food that’s always perfectly executed, I cannot praise this place enough.Below: scallops, tuna salad, (I believe pork chop), and then the prosciutto peach flatbread

The Nest is a must go when traveling through the koots. We enjoyed the quiet, intimate atmosphere and delicious food.I liked that the tunes were on vinyl and the ice cold cocktails.Neil was a great host and I cannot wait to come back to the Nest for another amazing dine in experience.

Just had a late mother’s day brunch with my mom, aunt, and girlfriend. The food was absolutely amazing for the price point, the decaf coffee was delicious, the vinyl records playing old time music had my mom and aunt singing away and relishing in days gone by. The service was top tier. Thanks guys, we will be back!

AMAZING. Exquisite flavors. Top notch chef and individualized service. Love the total care to minimize waste with reservations and pre-orders. A slight adjustment to our fast paced way of living and so worth it.Especially enjoyed the Pear Gorgonzola Flatbread and bone marrow appetizer.

Absolutely LOVE these guys! Dine-in or catering, the food and service is Top Notch!! They are wonderful and I highly recommend them for catering or dine-in. Just make sure you make a reservation!!On a side-note, I REALLY got a kick out of reading the negative reviews. Too Funny!!!!!

Amazing brunch in all ways: flavour, presentation and service was all excellent. Very reasonable cost considering the quality of the dishes. Even a breakfast margarita and raspberry habanero cheesecake!! Will try dinner next time we are in the area.
