There is honestly nothing better than a plate of mussels from mussel monger. We regularly visit Mojo Market just for this.Juicy, plump and meaty mussels which are perfectly cooked.

This mussel oyster bar is nestled in the Mojo Market in Sea Point. I have been going for two years as the oysters are always fresh. The are an array of different sizes. The mussels are cooked in a delicious white sauce with sublime bread to dip. The place is awesome and the shuckers / linguee a joy to watch!

Food was good but the service was terrible. Firstly noone responded to us arriving. The waiter (she had dreadlocks but didnt wear glasses – the one with glasses was more welcoming) seemed to have an attitude and didn’t want to respond to our questions but was happy to smile and respond to other customers.
