Creativity is essence of a life well spent
Really very kind staff that went out of their way to make my mom’s birthday special. Mom lives in a suburb of Ladysmith (Acciavale) that is not supported by Uber Eats and I live in Jhb. Wanted to surprise my mom with something special to lift her mood on her Birthday which also happened to be a Sunday. I called Milky lane in ladysmith and Ayanda answered. I explained that the Uber eats order was cancelled as there were no drivers available on Sunday morning 🙁 and mom’s surprise would now be ruined. She said that she will see to that my mother had her waffles and her milkshakes are delivered on the Sunday morning (her birthday). I quickly placed my order and paid and the delivery happened without a hitch! I had a very happy and pleasantly surprised mom. Thank you Milky Lane Ladysmith (The Square) and Ayanda for making this moment a reality and lifting my moms mood on her 64th Birthday. I’m forever grateful! BTW, mom said the Milk shake (.areo, Barone and peppermint crisp surprise was incredible. She was too full from the milkshake to provide feedback on the waffle at the time I rang her. The pics of the take-aways looked amazing. 10 stars If I could!!!!

I’m quite impressed with the service and products from milky lane Ladysmith, the waitress was polite and served very well, even brought balloons for the kids without us asking, all of this while they were very busy. Well done guys keep it up, good ice cream and service 5stars

Staff are not friendly, they even act as though doing their job is too much effort. On top of it, not value for money. So stingy with toppings and sauce for the whizzer I ordered which was R46. You’d be better off buying a tub of ice-cream

The assumed manager/ supervisor Ms Zehra gave us extremely bad attitude as we were asking how long we still had to wait for 2 milkshakes after we had already been waiting for about 35 minutes. Her lack of customer skills in the food industry needs more attention. I personally feel that until she gets the necessary skills she should not be front of house. Ms Alia who was swamped with orders and customers maintained a friendly face and great attitude and perhaps she should train Zehra on customer liaising.

Dirty floors, dirty walls with wallpaper held on with selotape, dirty upholstery on chairs, dirty stained glass storefront, slow service, tables left unattended, no real covid protocols being observed….really would not recommend

If you want to have a nice time with good service stay clear from this place. My experience-waiter forgets to come and take our order, thereafter she comes back mutilple times to check what she said is right but stills gets our order totally wrong. She then losses our order slip and forces another waiter to our table as she is to embrassed to come back and say that herself. Another waiter comes to our table and has to retake our whole order again. This after a 35min wait. This new waiter tells us that what our previous waiter said is on the menu is not available. The things we order finally arrive but is all wrong. This absolutely chaos carries on when they give knives and forks to eat ice-cream! ?!?! Our first waiter then continually swipes my card the wrong way and refuses help from me or her fellow staff.This is definitely the worst place I have ever been too!!

The world’s worst coffee. Please stick to what you do and that is milk shakes. The coffee was so watered down that, not only was it a rippoff to charge R25 for it, but the cheapest coffee, Frisco, is better than yours. It seriously was bad bad bad. Furthermore, the staff do not have a cooking clue how to even use a till. To add insult to injury, the so called cappuccino had caused instant diahorea for my wife.
