So it was on a Sunday, and they told me they are closing and can’t make a smoothie. Someone else (Asian male) comes after me and they make a smoothie for him, and then another (Caucasian/white male) and they make the smoothie ,no problem and no protest. Now, given that I am a black male, I found this to be a form of racism. I asked the waitresses at Kauai why they didn’t tell them the same thing, they couldn’t answer me. They asked me what smoothie I wanted, I said I’m not interested anymore. Looks like they don’t value black money in that side of Roodepoort. Utterly disgusted, and would encourage every other person not to go there at all….especially black folks…maybe we are not the target market….

Staff are attentive, however the stock on hand is often lacking, picked up a handful of times now where I’ve missed out on my favourite shake due to missing ingredients. Have had to settle for alternatives and sometimes nothing at all.

I order regularly from Kauai Little Falls via Uber Eats and have never had an issue before until now. My order didn’t arrive but I was charged and I contacted Uber via the app with no success. I then called Kauai Little Falls directly for assistance and person who answered was not only very rude and extremely dissmisive but also refused to give me her name so that I could escalate. This is absolutely appaling! 😡

It’s very unfortunate because Kauai is only fully accessible if you are a virgin active member. The shop is within the premises of the gym. I don’t have a gym membership card so I was prohibited from entering the gym to reach the shop, as per what the gym help desk told me. The gym help desk also said I can’t enter as the gym is protecting the gym members from the non gym members as things have gotten stolen before. @ Kauai please can you address the issue of non gym members not having full access to Kauai at your facilities that are associated with gyms across the board.
