We had such an amazing experience at Joop’s place and would definitely recommend them to others.Their food is cooked to perfection, decently portioned and worth every single cent! The atmosphere was lovely and service was great – the waiters were awesome and the manageress constantly checked in to make sure that everything was fine.We made the mistake of ordering starters, because the main meals were so filling that we had to role out of there!I had a pepper steak, cooked to perfection, and my partner had the “Shark Tank Legend Burger” – make sure that you are super hungry when planning to order the burger.If you’re looking for a good steak, Joop’s is the best and definitely worth the visit.

A very warm, homey atmosphere that’s serves absolutely amazing food. The steaks with were ginormous and seasoned and cooked to perfection. All our sides were hearty and delicious and we had the most amazing service by the hostess and our waitress. The best part was that the bill didn’t break the bank. Even the craft beers were very reasonably priced. I will most certainly be back.

I had an excellent fillet steak done to perfection. A proper pepper cheese sauce which I think was made with the pan fried juices. Mouth watering.The sides are served in a separate plate, which is a bit awkward to eat. It would be great if the whole meal was delivered on one plate. (Preference)Cocktails were freshly mixed and authentic.The waiter kinda messed up the side order. I asked if they could do veg instead of chips. He said yes but also failed to mention the additional charge.Toilets were clean which is always a plus.I will definitely be back.

Iv been on the hunt for the best burgers in Durban and Iv finally found it! Joop’s Definitely does the BEST chicken & beef burger! – Portion size is Very generous, so make sure you go there hungry! 10/10

My Family and I (10 in total) visited Joop’s Place on Sunday to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. What an amazing experience. The venue parking was so convenient and safe – the atmosphere was perfect. The waitron was just brilliant – funny/accommodating/friendly. The owner and his wife continually checked up on their customers and even ensured our meals were done to perfection. And perfection it was – we had an array of options and each of our meals was not only extremely delicious (major complements to the chef) – but well presented and well sized portions (we waiting a little longer than expected – but who can rush perfection). We had my elderly parents with us and the care and comfort given to them was so heartwarming – so much so that the restaurant provided towels to place on the chair to ensure my dad was more comfortable – as the chairs were of the normal restaurant type which he was not used to. Thank you to the Joops Family – highly recommended to anyone – and well worth the 5 stars.

My Fiance took me to Joop’s Place for dinner on my Birthday and it was amazing. The staff was so friendly and the chef came and introduced himself and was so friendly. Every meal we ordered was so flavorful and delicious. What a perfect atmosphere to be in on a Saturday night. Music at the perfect volume where you can have a conversation with your partner and wasn’t over powering. Very Comfortable seating. Need to go there again and again. I really loved everything about Joop’s place.

What a awesome night.everything from the time we arrived was fantastic.our waiter was quick and super friendly.he was very attentive.the food was just beyond delicious.I opted for the challenge and even though I didn’t finish it.the entire process involved was more than worth it.the presentation be fore it got cooked, the owner taking pics, the sheer size of the amount of meat for the small cost.This place has something magical about it and really is a hidden gem.i will most certainly return for a normal meal and amount of food, but everything else was just well worth it.
