What an amazing dinner we had tonight. Thank you for your hospitality and fabulous authentic curries! The portions were large and our tummies are full with leftovers for tomorrow. The lamb bunny chow is an absolute must! Thank you Vash for making us feel at home xxx
Where in Cape Town can you get a proper bunny chow? This place right here. Imperial Gardens has the right combo, good price, great portions (loads of meat), and amazing flavour (so saucy). They even give you the carrot salad, that just adds to the authenticity 🌞 I was treated so warmly by the staff, the owner particularly wowed me with her warm service. Could not recommend this place more if you want a great experience.

I have been living in Fish Hoek for close to 3 years now. My daughter and I love to be out and about. In the main road there is a charming Indian restaurant called Imperial Garden. It was by coincidence that my daughter and I stumbled across this hidden gem. The service is superb with attention to detail. The food is irresistible with smells inviting you in from the street. If you are looking for an intimate nook for a romantic date night, this is the perfect spot. There is also a separate section for a quick take-away with the best Gatsby’s in town.
By far the best Indian Restaurant in the deep south. Amazing curry dishes and delicious Sushi. The owners always welcome us with warm greetings. If ever you looking for a warm cozy place to have Indian dishes, I will recommend Imperial Gardens anytime 💕💕💕
We were visiting Cape Town from the US and came across this gem of a place. First time eating Bunny Chow and it did not disappoint. The Beryani and samosas were so flavorful and truly made with love! The hosts were so nice and kindest people you’ll find. Must visit when in Fish Hoek.
If you’re looking for fancy and unpretentious, this intimate, informal little family spot in the unexpected location of Fish Hoek Main Road isn’t for you …. but if, like my hubby and me, you crave affordable, AUTHENTIC DURBS CURRIES (not like those generally made in CT by Bangladeshi or North Indian chefs), your taste-buds will thank you. Attentive service and warm hospitality enhanced our last experience. My hubby will be away for a month and this is our choice for a farewell dinner before he leaves, so I can’t wait for more palate thrillers, tonight!
