We always get good service at this branch. The wraps are tasty and smoothies are flavourful. The one time we waited a bit longer for our food, we got a heartfelt apology and they had filled our wraps with a lot more than usual as an extra apology. Other than that one time, the service is always friendly and fast! A definite recommend!
I have always loved Kauai’s fresh and healthy food, but the one in Tyger valley has such terrible service. It used to be great!! Went there recently and a waiter named Sammy was awful. My husband ordered immediately (because we know the menu) but I asked for 5 minutes to look at the food. The waiter didn’t wait to put through my husbands food order so his food arrived 20 mins before mine and he sat waiting so we could eat together. Fortunately a princess wrap isn’t a warm meal. Everyone knows you should bring food out together, but Sammy was on another planet. He wasn’t very responsive when we spoke to him, he gave vague nods and gestures. He seemed really distracted or perhaps on something. There was a young lady on duty who was far more friendly and with it – we wished we had gotten her. Love Kauai’s food but service seems increasingly poor these day. Training is needed!
The Kauai in Tygervalley disappointed me as the service is quite poor, waiters walk past and you have to ask multiple times to get something. The cutlery we received didn’t seem like something you’d want to eat with. The portions are ridiculously small… I ordered a Choc Protein bowl which is R65 and I received half of what I normally receive at other branches. A friend ordered the Dragon Fruit Smoothie bowl and got double my portion. The environment where you eat is not clean regularly as you can see in the pictures quite a few tables were left with dirty plates on for a longer than expected period of time.

I absolutely LOVE Kauai’s food/drinks, but the service at this one is terrible. The staff hardly talks to you and if they do, then they mumble. They don’t greet you with a smile and are not friendly at all. Other than that, the food & smoothies are great.
Good options for those looking to eat healthy and still have a decent sized portion.Smoothies are delicious, as soon their bowls
Not a fan but the smoothies are good and I get vitality rewards.
The wrap I ordered was dry and flavour less, and so expensive for mostly lettuce 😐
