This restaurant is located inside the casino floor and offers a relaxing atmosphere where you almost forget you’re on the casino floor. The decor is subtle, the tables are well spaced out. The food was really good. Careful attention was paid to the cooking of certain meats like the pork belly starter had nice crackling on it and had unique elements like caramelised then lemon slices that paired really well. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful.

What a horrible experience i had for my birthday 16 September 2022. We arrived at the restaurant door and stood there for about 20 minutes without being attended to. After all that wasted time one of the waitress just pointed us to the table and said “go sit over there” we went and sitted on a table pointed to us and still did not get the service we were there for. After another 40 minutes of no service we then stood up and decided to leave and then requested to see the Manager. While waiting for the Manager the 2 white couple entered and immediately they were attended to.We complained to the manager who was in charge for the evening however that didn’t help.My question is ,this restaurant is it for the whites only or are we (black) not visible enough?how painfully is it to be ill treated by your own black people.

Always delicious – the food is consistantly superb. Service is very good. They do cater for special occasions such as Valentines day, Mothers Day extended and their sweet menu’s are of the highest standards. Always a pleasure to find here

Had a family supper here when we stayed at Emerald Casino. Very very pricey. Ordered the calamari starter. Well presented but very chewy and had like a plastic thing that u could peel out of it. Ordered the lamb shank, oxtail and steak. Lamb shank was good but the accompaniments lacked flavour. All mains come without sides. You need to choose and pay separately for sides which is not a common practice neither a good option. Just add to the bill. Their side vegetables are bland with no sauce. You have to order that as an extra. I would have preferred a parmesan mash to go with the steak but that was not possible. The oxtail was ok but not great. The steak was just bland. I feel that this is just a very pretentious place with overpriced food. For the amount I paid, I could have had a 3 course meal in a good restaurant. Even the bread that comes b4 ur starters need to be paid for. I would not recommend. It is just that Emerald Casino doesn’t have much choices 4 dining out and this is the reason why we chose to go here. Staff were friendly.

Wow wow wow. 10 out of 5 does not do this establishment any justice. Let’s start at the door. The maìtre d who is very well spoken, proffessional and exceptionally well organised, ”conducts” a symphony of professional and well trained waiters. The food is presented as a work of art, which is so delicious and explodes with flavour in your mouth. The service and ambience is absolutely amazing.The trouble with this establishment is that you are treated in such high regard, that the next establishment you visit is immediately found lacking any sense of customer service or quality food no matter what their former reputation. (Former reputation because now thier reputation is crushed.)Our visit to this outstanding and grand restaurant was amazing and without costing an arm and a leg. We will find a reason to travel the excessive distance again ( 220km return) just to experience the fine dinning delight again.
