Service in store is good, however ordered through the call centre and they upsize your meal without offering. I ordered a good life meal and then she states what is included in it and states medium hake.. get to the shop and it is charged extra. Understandable if she says do youu want to upsize your hake and then sells it but this is missmarketing completely.

We have been bying fishaways on a Friday evening at Fishaways at Monument Athos Centre for many years. Loved it – no complaints. But lately the fish is absolutely horrible. I phoned the Regionsal Manager and complained about the very oily and over-fried fish. He promised to look into the matter. After that the the fish was okay for one or two times where the fish would be delicicious. But then it would be the same story again – over-fried dark brown fish drowning in oil. I phoned him again. Same story. I’ve now given up phoning him to complain. It’s now a matter of placing your order and waiting to see what you get. If you’re lucky you’ll get fresh fried delicious fish or old fish that has just been warmed up again and which is over done and drowning in oil. I don’t know if this is just a Friday evening problem because of all the customers on a Friday and I think that to combat that they fry the fish in the afternoons and just re-fry it again for the evening rush. The fish is then old, tough and horrible. The batter is dark brown and drowning in oil. Can we PLEASE go back to the time before covid and get the delicious fried fish on a Friday again. (Maybe you should increase your staff on a Friday evening).

Order through call center… confirm order and store. Wait 25 mins before collecting. Arrive and get told “we tried calling you”. Number was wrong, so was order. No food. Area manager in slips and dirty shirt told me I didn’t order……. Pathetic. DONT EAT HERE

I often order via Mr Delivery, food is consistently good, with the exception of Fridays, where the food is slightly under cooked. ( probably rush time ) But besides this, im very happy with the service.

Useless, Trading hours until 09:00 Monday to Thursday got here at 08:40 they made me wait at the counter until I’m finished deciding to inform me that they have already closed the kitchen. Owner was very nice when I lodged a complaint changed to 4 star

Ordered online. An hour later called in to find out where my order was. Lady appologized for the lateness saying that she was waiting for a driver. I wonder how fresh the meal is going to be after standing in a polystyrene container for 30 minutes????

Clean store, friendly staff and the food was to die for! We had hake, chips and onion rings……the onion rings was out of this world!!
