If you’re driving through or stopping for petrol you should definitely stop by Detroit Coffee. They opened a few months ago (check review date for accuracy) and the place is in mint condition. The interior is super sleek and clean. You’d never guess that there’s such an upmarket coffee shop in the middle of seemingly nowhere. The saying comes to mind “What’s a beautiful thing like you doing in a place like this.”They sell lovely snack food like pies and brownies. It definitely is more of a takeaway spot than a sit down spot but it’s worth a stop. The coffee is great, the espresso has simple pleasant acidity on the palette and some of the nicest crema I’ve seen as it is a fresh roast. I won’t say where they get their coffee because you gotta visit Detroit Coffee first.Lastly the place is quite hidden away and difficult to spot from the road which really is such a pity because more people need to see and appreciate Detroit Coffee.
