I hate the exaggerated long walkway to the tellers, that invites little hands to just grab things, making it a nightmare for parents often… I despise the fact that everything is placed in such a way to encourage sales of the more expensive items. I am sad about your “give away” “toys” that teaches young minds about what brands to purchase and wonder how much money You were paid for that marketing ploy? I am sad that you chose to put in more plastic in the environment through that marketing instead of the wonderful little biodegradable pots with seeds that encouraged children to learn about Nature. I am sad that Checkers, and others like you, do not take the opportunity of your presence in a town to bring blessing instead of the Greedy energy that you do bring…

Shop looks nice, goods look nice, but the sevice is non existent. Stood for an hour at the ready made hot meals. Eventually left with nothing.

Prices are good, but on the service side there is quite a lack. Some staff members are ready to yell at you if you ask them if they have stock that is not on the shelves. A lot of the time there isn’t enough tills open. I do regularly support Checkers. Fresh produce is 99% of the time really fresh, they also have a great meat & bakery section.
