Such a cool place to chill, the food tastes amazing however the service is poor.The waiting period is extremely long, in some instances I was given chips because pap was not available, I was given malva with ice cream because there was no ‘space’ to make custard and chicken schnitzel because the person who makes sirloin nice was not around.Dessert menu is very limited too.I tried the Brima colada and it was outstanding!Many of my friends walked in without their temperature taken, most waiters don’t cover their nose with their masks. Covid compliance is concerning.

The place is still stunning. New wall paper on one wall depicting the history of Daveyton. Mondays they start serving after 12 which is not good for someone who may want a quick breakfast

The vibe is chilled and the food is always very tasty. We’ve had a lovely romantic date night, where we shared the braai platter and a couple of drinks. We also had celebratory dinner with friends… Service is always great and let me share one last secret. The best hot chocolate in the Benoni area 🤫
