I simply love the architecture. It’s so simple and pure, yet uniquely different and special. A place of simplicity, peace and quiet – yet you can’t take your eye off it. I like the stairs that have been made a home to little plants in places where no feet will go. The roof catches every bit of light and reflects the brightest white… truly mesmerising.

What a hidden gem. Such thought into the design and execution. Just oozes class everywhere. Had lunch at Spens and decided you can’t go wrong with a chicken burger. By far the best I have ever eaten. Food was superb. Service was excellent. Cammy was the waitress and proved to be a proud addition to their staff. The setting is also very unique. Another fantastic place for locals to enjoy and boast about to international visitors.

I am only giving this venue a 3 as I didn’t stay long at the venue. I specifically came to see the chapel and to order something small, but since the chapel was closed for a wedding I did not enter the venue at all.I was informed by the friendly gate security that when a wedding is booked the chapel is closed to the public. And he indicated weddings usually occur during the weekends, including Fridays at times. He further indicated that the restaurant and chapel is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Would recommend just calling in before going to explore.

We enjoyed ourselves…all the views were just mind blowing 🤯 👌 so beautiful that we even forgot about our food. Speaking about food, I had a roasted bone marrow amongst other things on my plate which was very delicious 😋 😍 😜.The staff was amazing 👏 😍 🙌 ❤.I’d definitely recommend it and go back. I live in Strand, CPT but after seeing the chapel on Insta I don’t regret driving all the way.

Lovely day out exploring the venue – love the Chapel and the grounds. We tried the Kombuis for lunch but was fully booked, so managed to grab a spot at Spens for lunch, which was superb!Kid-friendliness: Loads of space to run around, kids game area with water sprinklers, sandpit and kinetic toys. Parking: Lots of parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and accessible points, very wheelchair friendly (difficult on some of the gravel in parts perhaps)?
