Amazing each time I go . I have been here quite often for supper and the food and service never disappoints. This time we had a private dining which was a great experience. The food is of top standard. Some may say it’s pricey but I say it’s worth it. They give you quite a bit of extra that are free like the started mini dip platters and the sorbet for example. The portions are quite good and filling. The flavours are amazing. So far all the dishes veg and meat were well prepared. Ambience is great. Decor and seating is great. The staff are attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend Bombay Brassiere

The only reason you’re getting 5 stars, is cos I can’t give you a 7! Absolutely, unreservedly one of, in fact thee BEST Indian (of the subcontinent kind) restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I quipped to the staff that the only person who maybe could have done it better was my mum. Kudos all round for food, reception, staff, cleanliness, knowledge, presentation. I could go on and on. The prices may put some people off, but believe me, IT IS WORTH IT! You’re getting what you pay for. And the drinks… I’ve never had cocktails like that anywhere in the world. Absolute masterclass! It’s my new occassion place!

Tonight was my first visit to Bombay Brasserie but definitely not my last. We were lured in by a Facebook post promoting their Spouse on the House special. This consists of the tasting menu for two and a bottle of wine for R645. The food was outstanding. My highlight was the tandoori starter. The plating was exceptional. Perhaps the size of the portions played a part but we didn’t care much for the dessert. Expect the highest levels of service. Our waitress was an darling. Highly recommended

The Bombay Brasserie at the Taj, Cape Town is quite the treat when visiting the mother city. The starter portions were simply the best I’ve tasted in its category. The layout and set up of the restaurant is lovely and historical being in the old Reserve Bank of South Africa. The main course wasn’t the best unfortunately, hence my 4 star rating. The food didn’t seem as fresh. Perhaps it was just an off day. Definitely worth a visit though. I’d go back for another try when in CT again.

It would impossible to rate this anything other than 100% across the board – the madre d the waiters well informed friendly and just nice – the food came out of the kitchen quickly and was magnificent an explosion of well balance flavors. I was happy to see that a customer arrived outside of their dress code, and was politely asked to leave – well done Bombay Brasserie ! I will certain go back at the soonest possible chance !
