What an excellent culinary experience. Our food was delicious, tasty and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the impala, lamb neck and the pork belly. The wines are on the expensive side, but the setting and atmosphere makes up for this!

It’s always good exploring this place. It’s honestly one of those places I revisit in cape town. I love the new tapas feel menu. Especially the fact that they cater for vegetarians, if you’re vegetarian ask for the separate menu. Instead of trying to go through the normal menu looking for vegetarian options.

I absolutely loved the aesthetics of the space. The food was great and so were the drinks.I went there today 25th April 2022 and the place keeps on getting better. Definitely going there again. Everyone is amazing and the food and drinks are amazing. They explain in detail so you can enjoy nicely.

Best meal we had in our 10 night trip to South Africa – which is a high accolade as over the whole trip we ate some of the best food we’ve ever had. However 1682 clinched this for us as every element was perfect, all three courses were exceptional. The wine was amazing (Black Swan 2020) and whilst marked up from the wine bar next door was still very reasonable. And the service was impeccable. I genuinely cannot recommend this place highly enough and would urge anyone staying in Cape Town to jump in an Uber and go.

Set on the magnificent Steenberg Golf Estate, this eatery is welcoming and comfortable. Good service with really friendly waitrons add to the pleasure. Food is good though a tad pricey. Some different options make for interesting eating.

Wonderful place for breakfast. We got sweetcorn flapjacks and mushroom eggs Benedict. The coffee is also amazing. The venue is beautiful and the staff are excellent.
