You gotta try the calamari. Super tasty. The bowls are yum. The mac n cheese is alright. This was one of our go to places downtown. They aren’t open on the weekends and close early so just check before you go.The staff are super friendly. Lots of the food is air fried to decrease the oil you have. All in all a solid spot for vegan and gluten free options on Long street.

The fact that I went to this place twice in seven days should be an indication that I enjoyed their food. As a former vegetarian who struggled to find good restaurants with a decent vegetarian options, I must say that this place makes me want to go back. The first time I went I had their burger and it was absolutely divine. The texture of the burger was the same as a beef mince burger. The flavour was to die for. I had the blueberry bomb smoothie which I didn’t really enjoy because the banana was so overpowering that I couldn’t taste the berries. I also got a free dessert because my food took long to come and my drink came once I was done with my meal. The pumpkin pie was too thick and a bit dry for me. I had a hard time enjoying it the flovour was great. The second time I went there my friend and I both ordered poke bowls. The jackfruit on mine looked like tuna and tasted great. The only warm thing in that bowl was the jackfruit everything else was cold. The cauliflower rice had no flavour which was a bit of a disappointment. I had to mix everything together to get a good taste. I would suggest adding salt and pepper on the tables so customers can flavour their food to their taste. I ordered the rocket fuel super shake and asked that they not add banana to it, which ended up being a mistake because the longer I left the shake the more bitter it became. For dessert we had the pumpkin pie again because they didn’t have the other desserts on the menu. This time the pie was smoother and moist and I really loved. The place itself shares its establishment with another restaurant. There are only a few chairs inside. There are three tables outside which seem to be used by the general public. Avoid sitting there if you do not enjoy the smell of people smoking (like me) or if you don’t want things to blow away. The staff are very friendly an patient. I can’t wait to go back and taste everything else on the menu. The prices are reasonable considering the place is plant-based. I also like that they use recycled plastic straws rather than paper straws.I highly recommend if you are vegan or vegetarian looking for great meals. Or if you are a meat-eater looking for an experience.

This was our first stop in South Africa and it didn’t disappoint! We especially loved the Asian bowl, perfect combo of flavor and nutrition after a long flight. If you’re in the area, check it out! If you’re vegan, make sure to double confirm there is no meat or egg.

Quite possibly the best vegan food so far, everything was awesome and delicious. From the coconut dark chocolate to “calamari” and finishing it off with pumpkin pie 🥧. Chef Daniel and team are perfect hosts and have put in the hours.

Totally in love with this place! The food is incredible – didn’t know I can have delicious ‘salmon’ wraps as vegan. And healthy fries! I give my highest recommendation 🌟

The breakfast muffin is out of this world! Had a lovely seat outside on a not so busy Saturday. Loaded fries and MLT are a must try too. Staff are super friendly. Have to go back!
